The 2023 Board Members made decisions that have established the pathway to a fully reserected Commercial Fisheries Association.  We have continued our 501c3 status, cleared our prior obligations to any financials, established a 39 person roster (mostly consisting of Channel Islands Harbor Fishermen), made contact with and attempted to establish a woking relationship with Ventura County Supervisors, Channel Islands Harbor Administration, State Legislators, Assemblymen, Congressmen, local (Oxnard) City officials, including City Attornies, City Council Members, and The Oxnard City Manager.  We participated in local educational programs, invited and succesfully included Proffesors, Bioigists, Fishery Liasions, Climate Action Campaign Representitives., local developers, and many more...

The VCCFA is well under way.  Thank you to all who contributed in this effort so far.
